1. What is Imiivo Photo Studios?
Imiivo Photo Studios is a boutique portrait studio in Maryland serving established women who refuse to be overlooked. Led by Image Architect Shané K. Gooding, MFA, the studio closes the gap between a client's success and how the world sees them through thought leadership positioning, visual strategy, and gallery-quality portraiture.
Shané brings 20+ years of visual storytelling expertise -- from early career work at Miramax and DreamWorks to co-producing a nationally broadcast PBS documentary -- combined with an MFA in Photography and years teaching film production at Howard University. She brings a director's eye and a strategist's mind to every session.

2. Who is Imiivo Photo Studios for?
Imiivo is for the woman who has built something remarkable and whose image has not caught up to her level. She is established, intentional, and done being underestimated. She is ready for a visual presence that reflects who she actually is.

3. Where is Imiivo Photo Studios located?
We are located inside Savage Mill in Howard County, Maryland, between Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. We serve clients throughout the DMV and beyond, including women who travel specifically for this experience.

- The Portrait Experience ($2,450) is for the woman who knows her positioning and is ready for gallery-quality images to match.
- The Quiet Pivot ($3,750) is for the woman ready to close the gap between her expertise and how the world sees her. It includes your founder story framework, offer narrative, and visibility strategy.
- The Premium Experience ($6,950) is the complete visual authority transformation. It includes everything in The Portrait Experience and The Quiet Pivot, plus professional makeup artistry and your choice of a handcrafted heirloom folio box or two museum-quality framed prints.

6. Is this just photography or is strategy included?
It depends on which experience you choose -- and that is intentional.
The Portrait Experience delivers gallery-quality images. The Quiet Pivot and The Premium Experience go further, incorporating your founder story, offer narrative, and visibility strategy so your images are doing real business work from day one.
All three begin with clarity about the gap between where you are and how you are being seen.
7. What is included in an Imiivo portrait experience?
Every experience is all-inclusive. Depending on your investment level, your experience includes a private wardrobe consultation, professional makeup, expert posing direction, fully retouched images with commercial usage rights, and a private online gallery.
Mid and top-tier experiences also include your founder story framework, offer narrative clarity, and a visibility strategy. At the highest level, you also receive your choice of a handcrafted heirloom folio box or two museum-quality framed prints. Everything is handled.
8. How much does a professional brand photography session cost?
Our experiences begin at $2,450 and go up to $6,950 for our complete visual authority transformation. Every experience is all-inclusive -- no surprise add-ons after your session.

9. I am not photogenic. Will that be a problem?
No. And that is one of the most common things women say before their session. Expert posing, thoughtful direction, and a studio environment designed for your comfort means you do not need to know how to pose. You just need to show up. We handle the rest.
10. Do you help with what to wear?
Yes, completely. Every experience includes a full wardrobe consultation before your session. We discuss your brand, your goals, your color palette, and what photographs beautifully. You will never stand in your closet wondering what to bring.
11. How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 3 to 6 weeks in advance to allow time for your pre-session consultation and wardrobe planning. If you have a deadline, a launch, a rebrand, a speaking engagement, tell us upfront, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
12. How long until I receive my images?
Your image selection appointment is scheduled approximately 2.5 weeks after your session. This is where you will see your fully retouched images for the first time and choose what you want to keep. Final delivery follows shortly after.
Priority and rush editing is available.
13. Should I wait until I look a certain way before booking?
No. The version of you that exists right now, the one who has built what you have built, deserves to be documented. We are experts at posing, lighting, and wardrobe guidance that honors every body with precision and care. Many clients tell us their session was the first time they truly saw themselves as the woman they have become. Do not wait to celebrate that.
